A surge of excitment ran through the camp, Marylan raised her head and looked into the direction from where she had entered the camp previously, barely believing that the sight. Certain that her own eyes were somehow deceiving her she moved in for a closer look.

Susan looked around, rather intimidated by it all, but tried not to let it show. She crept closer to Peter, hanging close around him. She didn't know what to think at this point, everything was happening so fast... but she trusted Peter's judgement, so far he had led them well.

Sulis apeared beside Eleda as she walked next to her. "So you have found them." She says as her head turned and she looked at the children as she smiled at them. Her blonde hair waving in the slight breeze.

Susan looked up at the newcomer and frowned slightly. Everything was so strange, she didn't understand it at all. She sighed softly so that only her siblings could hear and kept following, wondering what was going on still.

Peter walked ahead of his siblings. He glanced over seeing some of the animals staring at them awe stricken. Then he felt his sister nudge p against him, ''This is what it must fee like for the animals at the zoo..." he muttered under his breath to her. He wasn't completely secure but he took every step with a steady countenance.

Suddenly from all around great cats could be seen. They were jaguars and panthers and tigers and leopords. Crisian the leader stepped forward. His cats followed a little ways behind. When Crisian got to the children he stopped. He grouched, almost as if to pounce. Then he bowed, as did his other cats. " We are at your service your highnesses " he said respectfully still bowing low

Peter looked at the cats with unblinking eyes. Why was it that every animal in Narnia insisted on them being their saviors. They were not heroes, they were not great war lords. They were children... school children. "Umm," he started but still could not believe he was talking to a great cat. So far, everything they had done or seen in this world countered his lessons from school or any bit of logic he once held onto. I am going madd...
He cleared his throat and started again, "I umm... think you have us mistaken. Don't take it personally it seems many here expect us to be something we are not. Or at least are not... yet." his eyebrows furrowed. Had he really said yet? He was actually beginning to accept this reality that made no sense to his life. Well his old life. But there was something real in the pure innocence of faith these creatures held in them. There was something tangible in their words and beliefs. Something that one could hold onto.

He rose slowly as did his other cats. " You may not believe that you have the courage to lead us. But you must understand that that is the destiny that lays before you. Whatever you decide, we will follow. " he said proudly. His cats roaring in agreement behind him.

"What do we do, Peter?" Part of her felt like it was her duty to stay, so many were looking to them for quidance but she didn't know what she could offer them. But the other part was afraid and wanted to go home. She felt like she didn't belong, even though the animals here were praising them every chance they got. She glanced up at the cats, but looked back at Peter, a little worried.

As Susan thought about such things Aslan came walking across the grass. He could be seen by anyone looking for him. He walked slowly up to Susan and Peter and all other animals that had gathered there that day. He shook his mane and looked directly at Susan.

Eleda stopped short as she saw Aslan, excitement and fear coming to her all at once. Taking a deep breath she turned to the children. "Aslan awaits you." She spoke to all the animals and troops as Aslan as they crowded the children. "Everyone step back and let the Kings and Queens breath! I do believe Aslan would like to speak to them alone." She turned back to Aslan and fell to her knees. "When you have spoken with the children, I was wondering if I could speak to you." She stood and bowed her head to Aslan and let the children pass.

Aslan smiled. " Any free beast may have my council.." He said and then turned to the children. " And yes, I do wish to speak with all of you.."

The sight of the great lion made her heart sing and his voice made her feet want to dance. She ran up to Aslan and looked at him curiously. "Are you the Aslan everyone's been talking about?"
