Hunting

[Tristan]

Tristan walked through the forest silently. He had a quiver with twenty arrows on his back and his bow was in his right hand with an arrow at the ready. His hawk flew high overhead guiding him towards the prey. To wolves ran at his side as he ran through the forest avoiding every branch that could be stepped on to make noise. As he went further the tree tops became to think, so speaking to his Wolves he ordered them to guide him to the prey. Soon he had reached the Elk he had been chasing. Tristan fired, but at the same instant someone coming from the trees made a sound and the beast ran, avoiding the arrow. Now Tristan swung towards the newcomer his eyes slits of raging curiousity. Few people where ever this deep in the woods.

[Noel]

*noel had heard the man and looked at him..she noticed the bow..the saw the elk running..she looked back at him into his eyes* forgive me..I did not know you were hunting...though that small elk would've never been good enough...I know where to find many..though I myself try to stick to plants and herbs and little meat..like fish..

[Tristan]

Tristan stepped stepped out of the trees and looked at the woman." I've been doing fine with what I catch." He said in a low voice, barely enough to travel to her ears. His two wolves patted up beside there Master and looked at the woman. They were at ease since they were around a Werewolf. Almost a Queen of there kind." But I wouldn't mind learning of a new Hunting Grounds."

[Noel]

*she nodded and looked at the wovles...she walked to them and began to speak in a strange language to them..she didn't care if tristan knew she was a werewolf..after a few minutes, she stood up and looked at him* alright..come *she turned and began walking slowly through the woods*

[Tristan]

Tristan watched her talk to his creatures and smiled alittle. So, she was a werewolf. That explained it. Inside of being scared or wanting to kill her he was instead intrigued. As she walked away he trotted up beside her and slung his bow across his shoulder." So you are one of the Werewolves, I was under the impression they were extinct." The Elf said looking back at the wolves who walked behind like a guard.

[Noel]

*she continued walking, her hand would periodically stay at the level of her eyes so as to not get hit by branches as she looked back to talk to him* Indeed there are only few of our race left..though we plan to continue for as long as fate allows our existence *she said, trying to put a smile on her face*

[Tristan]

Tristan avoided every branch with ease as he walked beside her. He glanced back one more time and noticed how his two wolves weren't there. He smiled and listened to the Werewolf."I'm sorry to here about that." The Elf said gently." But I here you are a strong people, you will eventually fight your way back."

[Noel]

*she shrugged* well, I would suppose...we are almost there..we must be quiet..*she said as her footsteps went from popping and cracking to no noise at all..it was amazing for she was still going the same speed, but she was stepping so gracefully around every leaf and limb that she made no noise whatsoever*

[Tristan]

Tristan followed her, trying to copy her gracefulness. But he still made noise as he went. Although it was rare and the sound still barely audiable it was there." So, where are you taking me?" He asked her curiously.

[Noel]

*she smiled...and pushed his head down to about her waist..she then herself crouched and slowly parted the bushes* here...*once the bushs were aside, first thing that was noticable was the large and vast plain, the second, were all the deer and buck that dotted the plain, they were everywhere grazing and playing with eachothers horns* they haven't ever seen a human, so they won't be afraid of you...they know my scent however..so..I cannot go...but they are scared of me though I have never harmed them, but they would be great prey for you and your friends.. *she smiled* simply trying to help

[Tristan]

Tristan put his bow and quiver down and walking out to the deer. One walked up to him curiously and he stroked it's snout and patted it's side. Then the Hunter moved on to the others until he found an old one who was close to death. Tristan would wait til night to slay him, when his companions would not see.

[Noel]

*she smiled and motioned for him to come back to her..when he did she whispered to him* You are very honourable in doing that..thank you...I'm afraid I couldn't find them again if i needed to *she curiously leaned over to him and sniffed him once..then backed away and blushed* i'm..sorry..I just wanted to know their scent...*she frowned for being so foolish*

[Tristan]

Tristan looked over at her." I may be a slayer of there kind, he still had respect for them. As he kneeled across from the Werewolf he smiled alittle." Your quite welcome, I would never kill that creature with others around to see him fall." Tristan said as she suddenly sniffed him. He laughed alittle." It's alright, I can understnad your curiousity."

[Noel]

*she smiled* I wanted to know there scent.. just incase they do leave...I sit here for hours just watching them...I enjoy it...*she smiled at him* so tell me Tristan, where do you hail from?...I wish to know about you and your past

[Tristan]

Tristan looked at her and smiled." I come from the once proud Elven lands, but I do not wish to be known by that. Instead I forge my own path. Of my history I can tell you I left as a child and moved to the forests. There I met those two wolves, and my wonderful friend, Harqul." He said as the hawk soared over head above his master." But what of your past?" He asked her curiously as he pushed a braid of his brown her back.
