Orieus had heard rumors that Aslan would be at the Stone Table. He had been trying to find him for twenty years now, with no success. He headed towards the Stone Table, passing through Cair Paravel. He had to fight for Aslan and not for the Witch like his brother Osiris had chosen to do. He hoped that he could gather some creatures who would fight for him before arriving there.
He suddenly heard a noise. He turned around to see who or what it was.

The noise heard by Orieus was made made the snaping of several twigs for Aslan's footprints made no sound at all, even though he was a massive animal. Aslan walked out in the clearing and looked the centaur straight in the eye. He then spoke in a war, crisp voice. " Hello Orieus." He said slowly.

Orieus was amazed and terrorized to see the Lion in front of his eyes. He couldn't think of anything to do or to say. He dared not look, for his eyes held something which made him feel afraid. But at the same time, there was kindness in his eyes.
"Your honour..." Orieus said and bowed. He was nervous and afraid but felt courage at the same time.
"How is it that you know me, O Aslan?" He said, now much calmer, looking into the Lion's eyes, still bowing, and wondering how this magnificent creature knew him.

Aslan watched the cintaur and smiled before he spoke in his warm crisp tone. " I know all creatures that would serve me." He said and shook his mighty men. " And all animals that fight for a free Narnia. "

"I should have thought of that, My Lord," said the Centaur," For I serve you and a free Narnia to even further than death, and will never stop fighting for you or Narnia."

Aslan smiled and approached the centaur so he was closer to his follower. " That is good to here, for I fear that we may need all the help we can find young centaur. "
