Bartimius kneeled down before river. He was in his normal form and his dark magnifence was radiating from him. He had just returned from the silent War of Horrors. He was the last of his kind alive, but instead of being sad about it he was fine. Now he was the last one, and he knew he was the strongest. Now that he was back though he had to worry about Aslan. The Horror wasn't arrogant like other beasts, he knew the Lion couldk ill him, so he needed to be cautious." How will you fall?" He asked quietly as he tossed a stone into the water breaking the surface.

*jadis' sledge traveled very fast along the edge of the water...she saw bartimius and stopped it* halt..*she said quietly, and her reindeer immediately stopped...she walked out slowly and looked at Bartimius* who are you...and pray, tell me how have you come to my dominion?*she said, raising a brow*

" I am Bartimius the Horror." He said never looking at her or raising from his spot along side the river. He could see her reflection in the water and then tossed another stone into sending ripples through her reflection before standing." And I came here because I chose to be here. Good enough, My Queen?" He askedi n a haughty tone.

*she did not smile for she saw no reason to...his cheekiness didn't please her* Well I would suggest you hush, before I cut out your tounge, then next time someone asks you something, you cannot answer, and they will kill you...or maybe I should simply do that now...*her face was stern and cold...her hair was in it's icey braid, and her crown full length with many ice crystals*

The Horror just smiled and placed his hand on her ice cold cheek." Calm down, Old Girl. Anger is horrible for the complextion, creates worry lines." He said patting her cheek before walking down river." And your threat is alittle hard to follow, I mean you cut my tongue out. And I grow it back." He said with a smirk sticking his tongue out which was forked and almost one foot in length.

" Ohh what's the matter, Queeny?" He asked in mock sadness." You know the Lion is going to beat you, it's only a question of when. And even if you manage to beat him, which you won't. The Green Lady will eventually come with her armies and defeat you." He said as he laughed at her." Your reign is on it's last leg. You need to take any ally you can get, and one as strong as me would be quite useful. Since all your other ones are even dumber then dare I say...you." Bartimius said with a smirk just to anger her.

The Horror said as he walked towards the Queen." I promise to be a nice little demon." He said with a smirk. He often enjoyed comparing himself to supernatural creatures.

Bartimius watched her walk away." Happy trails, My Queen." He said as he jumped into the lake. The cold water flowing up to his waist, but to a creature who felt neither pain nor pleasure, it was easy to handle.
