Eleda moved silently from tree to tree, barely moving any of the snow from their branches. She was about to make a difficult leap, when a bright light caught her attention. She swung down and walked up to a very strange looking object. circling it, her staff ready, hit it. Promtly, a very loud twang emmited from the object and she leaped back, sheilding herself. For several mintutes nothing happend. She looked at it again and was about to touch it when a noise came from behind her. She leaped up into the trees and waited.

*the witch had been riding in her sledge...she felt something..strange...she told the small dwarf to stop the reindeer...he did so and she got out..she looked around* I sense another's presence...hmm..*she kept squinting but couldn't understand..she felt the person there..but couldn't see the creature*

Eleda stiffened on her branch and sat as still as she could. Cursing her self silently for letting her guard down enough to let the Witch close to her. Eleda quickly put up her walls around her mind and tried her best to hide her aura. She knew the Witch was powerful, but she had to try. Not daring to move, she watched the witch carefully.
She took a chance and sprinted through the trees.
