Lucy walked into the tent and flew off like a bird to examine all of the different furniture and clothes and wonderous things that she had never seen before.

Criston, the white wolf came into the tent slowly. He watched the girl for a moment before he spoke. His voice was soft and gently.
" Hello Lucy Pevensie."

Susan laughed softly as she watched her sister run around. Everything had happened so fast in this land, and it was all very hard to believe. But as she watched her sister, carefree and excited, her nerves calmed and her mind quietened. She smiled at the wolf as he entered but didn't say anything. Instead, she plopped onto the pillows and sighed. She hadn't realized how tired she was until now.

Criston turned his gaze to the older daughter of Eve. He nodded and slowly sat down, his tail wagging a bit. He looked at both of them, his stare going back and forth between the two.
" Tell me, are you prepared for what you must do?"

Susan bit her lip slightly. "I'm afraid I still don't quite understand why we're here, and what we're supposed to do." She sighed softly, looking down. "I just don't know what to do."

Criston nodded and looked at Susan.

She couldn't help but smile. The wolf had so much faith in her and the others, she would never be able to let them down. At least not intentionally. She still didn't think she was the right person for all of this, but everyone's faith in her kept her strong. "Thank you. I'll remember that."

He smiled and nodded his head again.
" And indeed that is a good thing to remember." He said and then laid down.
" oh yes, I am to stay with you tonight, to make sure nothing happens to you while we are here. We recently had an attack on this camp so....I am protecting you."
