" Well of course, the witch's spell will be broken. It is being broken even now as the children draw closer to Aslan. You can not tell me that you wish to see snow forever. Don't you long for the smells of spring. To hear the chirping of the birds aloft the green treetops. The sight of roses and dandelions in the meadows?"

Deston had nothing else to do but follow her. Perhaps she would leap him to more of her kind. Perhaps they would even aid him and Aslan against the witch.
