( I dont remember anything from the movie...)
"But? How are we going to do anything, we are children, and you have Aslan. What sort of a difference can four children make?" He could not bring himself to look at Susan, she would hate this... but there was something stirring in him. Something about this creature... this woman spoke with such faith and trust in her words. He could not detect a hint of a joke or lie in her voice or words. How could this be happening?

*she was getting..slightly frustrated* Yes but the prophecy..the prophecy states that without the sons of adam and daughters of eve, we shall stay in this winter and parish by unimaginable deaths...you will all become kings and queens after this...you must fill the four thrones at cair paravel, for when that happens...you shall unite narnia, and bring us from the wicked reign of the witch...once a king or queen in narnia...always a king or queen in narnia

For a moment he let his childish and care free side slip out, "Lets do it!" he really wanted to help these people. This woman held so much of her hope in the four that it was near impossible for it. Furthermore he wanted to meet this Aslan. He sounded simply amazing. But then his mind and responcibility caught up with his words. "Sorry..." he looked down for a moment but then spoke to the others. "Lucy and Ed are barely old enough to leave the house alone... and Susan and I barly old enough to watch and look ever them. Well before we do anything rash, I say we meet this Aslan and tell him of our problem. Maybe he will understnad that we cannot help him out in any great way."
(lol cue attack by some random monster )

Seeing that Lilith was getting upset from all of this, she walked over to the Mermaid queen. "My dear Sons of Adam and Daugthers of Eve, Lilith has left out a very important part of the prophecy." She placed a hand on Lilith's shoulder and said this more to her than to them. "The 4 humans can only save Narnia if they believe in their abilities and are strong enough to fight. And obviously, Peter here doesn't think thats the case." She hoped that she would strike a nerve with this comment and stir Peter's blood.

She looked Peter up and down indifferently. Smiling inwardly she stood over Peter and sneered down on him. She unbuckled a sword from her back and pulled it out of it's sheath. She held it up into the sky and it shone with inticing brillance. It was expertly made, an elfen and dwarven made sword, on of the very few they worked together to make. It had belonged to her father. She brought the sword to her face and looked over it at Peter. "Bet he wouldn't even be able to weild a sword anyway." The sword fell into the ground in front of Peter, the hilt of the sword shining. She knelt down and took her staff and became tending to it. Over her shoulder she called, "Why Lilith I do believe that he wouldn't even be able to fight a mouse without shaking!" Aslan let him make the right choice and fight me.

Their taunts only feuled Susan's emotions as she scowled at them. "Peter is no coward! He knows his responsibilities and can take care of us all!" She was still unsure about all this, but they were making fun of her brother after all, and she knew he was better than what they were making him out to be. "Show them, Peter." She said, eager to see their taunts thrown back.

He looked up, a fire burning deep in his eyes. He wanted more than anything to take the blade and hold it... just hold it. But he could not, this was what his mother had sacrificed so much to keep them from. "No matter your intention, noble as they may be, our mother has worked so hard to keep us away from a war... well a war from our world. Getting into duels and battles here would only be ricking everything our mother has sacrificed for our safely." he dragged his eyes from the sword, it was so compelling... so drawing, but he would not do it... he could not do it.

Eleda froze when he spoke, and heard the passion in his voice. He loved his mother and his brother and sisters. memories came flooding back to her and she stood up with her staff and sighed. She spun around and pointed the blade at his heart, inches away from his chest. "You may very well believe that by not fighting you will be able to leave. You're wrong. Now that you're here, the White Witch will never let you leave. NEVER. She will kill all of you when she has the chance, and she will come into your world to do it. Do you want that? A mother who thought she was saving her children only to find that they were killed?" She remembered her family and her voice turned to ice. "How do you think she'd feel? If you don't learn to fight, you will all be killed."

"I can not lead my family into a war. If the White Witch brings a battle to us, I will fight it to the best I can. To my very last breath. But Lucy and Susan will have no part of it. A battlefield is no place for children epically not young girls." he was silent for a long time. Thinking about their options and trying some way to get them out. He prayed that is were a dream that he would bake up at this moment to save himself from making a choice that would tear a world apart or his family. After a moment he sided, "We... we have to meet Aslan. Before fight, before we train. I need to know my sisters and brother are safe before I can begin to fight... or even begin to understand what we are fighting for..."

She leaned in close and whispered to him. "trying to protect them this way may only hurt them more, but I admire your attempt." She pulled back and re-shouldered her staff. "It's a pity though... all my life I have been searching for you four, hoping that you could end this. To save my family..."

A bird flew overhead and landed on Eleda's shoulder. It was a bluejay and it chirped widly as it rested on Eleda's shoulder. Then it spoke in a more understandable tone. " Aslan and his army are gathered at the encampment below the stone table. He wishes you all there as quickly as possible.." He said and the the bird flew off into the trees.

"Whats a shame is that you wont even take us to Aslan, he can answer our questions properly and maybe after sharing our points on the matter we can come to a conclusion. I will not have you stand here and discuss the 'fate' of my family in substitute of your own pain when surely you are speaking more of yourself than any present." he was breathing heavily after his little fit. "We have taken our time here to lightly, either the Witch, hostilities, or memories of the past will destroy us here. Let us press on toward Aslan."
