She started laughing. "No! In my world, we are their dinner!" She paused for a moment and thought. "But I'm sure you would make a lovely house pet if you wanted to. Although if you were my pet, we'd be more like very good friends."

She nodded and hummed a single note. when she opened her mouth a song about not fearing darkness and the light that would come in the morning flowed out. Her voice was soft and high.
